Bhole Baba Bhakti Festival 2019

We celebrate the Bhole Baba Bhakti Festival with lots of kirtan, mantra singing, music and inspiration. In 2023 it will take place from Friday 28 July to Sunday 30 July. The festival is dedicated to Babaji’s message of “Truth, Simplicity, Love”.

You can participate for one or more days, with or without an overnight stay. There is a morning, afternoon and evening program.

Thursday July 27

Arrival day

  • 7 pm Aarti in the temple

Friday July 28

  • 6 am: Paduka Puja + chandan + kirtan at havan kund
  • 6:30 am: Quiet havan in small dhuni [alternative program: yoga]
  • 7.30 am: Welcome/Opening Ceremony
    followed by the Aarti in the temple.
  • Possibility of breakfast in the Chai Shop (Tea House)
  • 10.00-11.00 am: Satsang in the temple
  • 11 am – 1 pm: Kirtan
  • 1 pm: Warm vegetarian lunch plus pause
  • 3.30 – 6.00 pm: Kirtan in the temple
  • 7 pm Aarti in the temple
  • 8.30pm: Dinner
  • 9.30 p.m.: Kirtan

Saturday July 29

  • 6 am: Paduka Puja + chandan + kirtan at havan kund
  • 6.30 am: Quiet havan in small dhuni [alternative program: yoga]
  • 7.30 am: Aarti in the temple.
  • Possibility of breakfast in the Chai Shop (Tea House)
  • 10.00-11.00 am: Satsang in the temple
  • 11.00 am – 1.00 pm: Kirtan
  • 1 pm: Warm vegetarian lunch plus pause
  • 3.30 – 6.00 pm: Kirtan in the temple
  • 7 pm Aarti in the temple
  • 8.30pm: Dinner
  • 9.30: Kirtan or concert
  • 11.00: All night kirtan

Sunday July 30

  • 6 am: Paduka Puja + chandan + kirtan at havan kund
  • 7.30 am: Aarti at the temple
  • 9 am: Satsang at the temple
  • 10 am: Havan + kirtan at havan kund
  • 1.00 pm: Warm vegetarian lunch plus pause
  • 3.30 pm: Kirtan and closing ceremony at the temple
  • 5 pm: Karma yoga: cleaning up
  • 7 pm: Aarti and then dinner.

People who will accompany the kirtan include:
Pujari, Dharmananda, Tino, Shiva Priya, Aradhana, HariHar, Steffi, Ida, Tobias, Marieke.

There will also be a Healing Tent, where yoga and healing sessions will take place.
There will also be a place for individual consultations.
Any further additions to the program will be announced at the festival.

Karma Yoga

Visitors also sign up for some karma yoga activities during the festival upon arrival. Many hands make light work and together we create the success of the festival. Let’s celebrate Babaji’s message of Truth, Simplicity, Love.

Accomodation and contributions

Possibilities for accommodation and the financial contributions are as below. The prices are per night, including participation in the festival and meals.

  • Room (shared) at the ashram: 60 euros.
    Please note: There is only a limited availability of rooms. For example, people with a health indication may be given priority for overnight accommodation in a room.
  • Overnight stay in dormitory: 50 euros.
    There are several dormitories.
  • Own tent or camper on the ashram site: 40 euros.
  • Children up to 6 years: free.
  • Children from 6 – 12 years: 10 euros.
  • Youth aged 12-18: 15 euros.
  • Day price without overnight stay: 35 euros.

There are also accommodation options at locations in the immediate vicinity.
The nearest bungalow park is Eldorado: http://www.bungalowparkeldorado.nl/veluwe/.
Other possible holiday parks, which are slightly further away than Eldorado in terms of walking distance, are: Landal Greenparks Heideheuvel, or EuroparcsBeekbergen.
You book the bungalows / chalets yourself. If you rent a bungalow / chalet, you pay the ashram the festival day price without overnight stay.

Please bring your own sheets or sleeping bag. If you are unable to bring sheets or a sleeping bag, you can rent sheets in the ashram for 7.50 euros per person ( if available)!
