Karma Yoga can be described as a work that you do unselfish, work dedicated to God or for a higher purpose, work in service to humanity. Karma means work, Yoga means Unity or Equilibrium. Karma Yoga is doing work in such a way that it brings spiritual growth or life in Unity. An important help for karma yoga, as advised by Babaji, is to repeat a mantra like Om namah Shivay in the silence of your heart, or even out loud or singing. Babaji himself sees karma-yoga, unselfish work, as the best spiritual practice for this time.

Mainly due to karma yoga by volunteers has the ashram Sada Shiva Dham become what it is now.

Karma yoga helps you to feel at home at the ashram and at the same time grow spiritually. The karma yoga can be a variety of activities, for example, working in the garden, in the building, to help with the wood supply, renovation or repair work. In general, ashram work is simple work.

If you come for the first time, we invite you to first come a few days or a weekend, to meet the people at the ashram and experience what the ashram and the program are about.
