Every year we, at Sada Shiva Dham, celebrate Christmas. At Christmas Eve, 24th December, there will be the usual Aarti (light ceremony and singing of mantra’s) in the evening. Before or after we have the tradition to sing Christmas carols and bhajans; and share some presents among each other.
Everyone is heartily invited to take part and is invited to bring a present of about 5 euro for under the Christmas tree; later in the evening each person will have the joy of one of the presents, randomly distributed.
The morning of the 25th will be celebrated with Aarti at 7.30 and a festive havan (vedic fire ceremony) at 10, with a vegetarian Lunch about 13 o’clock. Everyone is welcome to participate.
On the 31th of December we celebrate New Year’s Eve with singing of Bhajans in the dhuni and a festive welcoming of the New Year at midnight. In the morning there is Paduka Puja, Aarti, and Havan.
