Christmas is a day of Light and Joy. In Haidakhan, India, this special day is celebrated with a Christmas play and free food for all people who live in the surrounding environment of the ashram. Babaji himself started this celebration in Haidakhan 30 years ago.
At Sada Shiva Dham we celebrate this special day of Christ birth in the evening of the 24th and the morning of the 25th.
On the 24th we sing Christmas Carols after the Aarti (light ceremony and singing) at 19 hours. On the 25th we celebrate with Paduka Puja (7 hour), Aarti (7.45 hour) and Havan (vedic fire ritual for harmony and peace) at 10 hour. After that there is karma yoga and the Christmas Lunch.
